Hello Healthy Besties! It turns out that plant-based meat has lower total saturated fat than animal meat, and zero cholesterol. Cholesterol and saturated fat are often associated with an increased risk of chronic disease, including type 2 diabetes, as well as the risk of stomach and intestinal cancer.
