Plant Based Beef Teriyaki

Modern twist on a classic beef teriyaki from Japan. Made with plant based meat with taste similar to the one in japanese restaurants!


  • 250 grams of plant-based beef patty
  • 1 onion
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • Scallions
  • 4 tablespoon of instant teriyaki sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon of tomato sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon of soy sauce
  • 1/3 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of sugar
  • 1/3 teaspoon of pepper

How To Cook

  1. Heat oil in a pan, while waiting, cut the beef into chunks. When there is a flicker of smoke, drop the chunks into the pan. Fry until nice golden brown
  2. Wipe the pan, do not wash it. Slice the onion, crush the garlic and sautee both of them in the pan with enough oil
  3. Add the instant teriyaki sauce, sesame oil, tomato sauce, soy sauce, salt, pepper, and sugar. Stir thoroughly and put the chunks into the sauce
  4. Simmer until the sauce seaps into the chunks
  5. Serve with fragrance rice, coleslaw and mayonaise
